Learning Objectives: Munch Kids Learn About the Color Blue!
Introduction (5 minutes)
Explain to your Munch Kids that they will learn about a very special color. This color is the color of the sky, the ocean, and even Munch! “Can you guess what color it is? You’re right, it’s blue!”
Play the The Color Blue | Learning Colors for Toddlers with Lulu and Munch
Instruction/Parent Modeling (10 minutes)
Review the color Blue and see if your Munch Kid can identity the color Blue around their environment.
Go on a color adventure! You can be pirates in search of blue treasures! Play pretend and use silly voices.
Guided practice (10 minutes)
Go exploring around your house, park or any safe environment.
Make this fun and engaging, when you see the color blue get excited. Your Munch Kid will follow your excitement. See how many Blue things you can find!
We encourage you to praise your Munch Kid for discovering the color blue around them.
Differentiation
Enrichment: Have advanced Munch Kids draw what they find using a blue marker/crayon.
Support: Give struggling Munch Kids help as you play with them. Reassure them you are a team and together you will discover the color blue!
Review (5 minutes)
