Lulu and Munch is a single camera show that
features Lulu (played by Leigh Schindler) and a monster named Munch.
Teachers, Michelle Opitz and Leigh Schindler created a curriculum-based show
where each episode is developed to provide free, fun-filled quality education to
kids around the world.
Lulu and Munch do activities, play songs, and discover cool things.
The show airs weekly with each episode lasting an average
of 4 minutes. Provided lessons and curriculum can be
downloaded and followed with episodes.

Meet the Creators
Michelle has over 15 years of teaching
experience. She runs a K-12 Film and Digital Media Department, where she gets to teach film production, film theory, animation, digital media and coding.
Additionally, she is the advisor for the
Minecraft club and Girls Who Code club on campus.
She began her teaching career at various middle schools, after school programs and non-profits for children throughout
Los Angeles. Having a film background,
Michelle has had the honor of studying
directing at the American Film Institute and also graduated from Chapman
University with a BFA in film production. An active member of the entertainment industry, she has produced five feature films, dozens of short films and
documentaries which have circulated film festivals, winning awards and acclaim.
Born in Japan and raised in Hawaii,
Michelle moved a lot throughout her childhood. Her diverse background draws her toward unique projects like her new children's show Lulu & Munch. She is so excited to use her experience to create this show for her niece and children around the world!
Leigh has been working with children for 14 years. She has spent the last 3 years as a preschool teacher at the private arts preschool in Santa Monica, Little Dolphins by the Sea. Leigh received her Early Childhood Development credentials from UCLA extension, was a Musical Theatre major at the prestigious Boston Conservatory, and has an AA in Communications and Media Arts.
Leigh specializes in performing and visual arts, she has been teaching music, dance, and theatre to children since she was 15 years old. She was the head teacher and manager at Twinkle Toes Dance Studio in Highland Park teaching Mommy and Me Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop dance classes to ages 2-10 years old.
Leigh is also a singer/song writer. Her original songs are featured on Spotify and she has a number of original and cover music videos on youtube. Leigh won “Best Actress in a Feature Film” award at the California Woman’s Festival for her starring role in the award winning indie Feature Film “Between the Miles” where her original music and dynamic acting performances are feature.
